FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When did you first start drawing?
When I was a little girl and got bored sitting in church so I drew. I kept at it when the people there gave me compliments, but continued to draw regardless because I found it to be a joy to do.
What general tools do you use for your illustrations?
For line art, I use a mixture of ink pens. I use the Pentel Brush Pen for thick lines, the Kuretake Brush Pen for thinner lines (I inject ink that is waterproof because it doesn't originally come with waterproof ink), and I use Bic Round Stic Grip fine ballpoint pens and Uni Lakubo 0.5 pens (a ballpoint pen but makes very thin lines). Brush pens I use for main line shapes, Ballpoints I use for details. All waterproof ink.
For watercolor artworks I use a mixture of Dr. Ph. Martin's Radiant Concentrated watercolors, and Sennelier watercolors on 140 lb 300g/m cold pressed watercolor paper.
For canvas artworks, I use acrylic paint. I tried oils before and will not use the medium anymore because it takes about a week to dry in between coats. I am an impatient artist and acrylic paint dries fast, so it is my preference.
For digital artworks I use Adobe Photoshop CS5. Sometimes I use Clip Studio Paint, but rarely. I use a Hion Kamvas 13 Graphics Drawing Tablet.
Who inspires your artwork?
Not only God's handiwork, but also Ghibli Studio, Emperpep, Madoka Kinoshita, Rumiko Takahashi, Kouta Hirano, Endling, Drawkill, Jakub Rozalski, Deadslug, Jayaply... (I might add to this as I think of them, but be sure to look up these amazing artists I've mentioned if you're not familiar with them!)
